Along with their sons, Bud and Bernie, a family cottage was built by hand. Summers at the cottage consisted of days filled with boating, fishing, and swimming the wonderful waters of Lake Erie. As the years passed and their families grew, each generation built upon Joseph and Mary’s love of Lake Erie and everything it provided. With his diverse background — of being drafted to play competitive Junior A hockey as a young man, to working in the operating room as a surgical tech, to acting as a fishing guide in the local waters — Captain Tommy has a calm demeanor beyond his years, while staying young and playful at heart. You’ll rarely find someone who can make you feel as welcome as an old friend, yet excited to be doing something new and engaging with someone you’ve just met.
